The service

Controller Tester is a free, browser-based diagnostic tool. We provide it as-is and as-available, for personal, non-commercial use, with no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate for your specific hardware.

No warranty

The results — including the stick-drift verdict — are a best-effort reading from your browser's Gamepad API, not a professional hardware diagnosis. Browser and operating-system limitations mean some inputs can't be read accurately, or at all. Please don't make irreversible decisions (such as discarding a controller) on the basis of a result alone.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including any decisions made based on test results.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or scrape and republish it at scale. The site's design, code and content are ours and are provided for your personal use.

The site may link to third-party websites and display third-party advertising. We don't control and aren't responsible for their content or practices; see our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work.

Changes

We may update these terms; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
