What the tool does with your data

Controller Tester reads your gamepad input through your browser's Gamepad API to display it and compute a drift verdict. All of this happens locally, on your device. Your controller inputs, device name and test results are never transmitted to us or anyone else. Close the tab and they're gone.

Information we do not collect

• No account, sign-up or login.
• No controller data, test results or device identifiers.
• No personal information you don't choose to give us (for example, by emailing us).

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible) to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. These count visits in aggregate; they do not build a profile of you and we never sell your data.

Advertising & cookies

This site may display ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because the controller test itself stores nothing, blocking cookies won't affect how it works.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; any changes are posted here with a new date.
